The guitar is completely disassembled and certain parts are selected for aging and other parts are kept \"clean.\" Finally finished in Nitrocellulose lacquer, this guitars have all the tone and resonance of a real vintage Les Paul. Once the finish is done, that's when the hardware and electronics go in. But it's not all stock parts that end up in there...\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe pickups are replaced with a DiMarzio Bluesbucker in the Neck and a DiMarzio Air Norton in the Bridge. Rewired completely to breathe better, the LP60 has a few more tricks up its sleeve. The neck pickup's tone control is wired like a coil tap, which gives that pickup an amazing vintage strat sound. The beauty is that you're not locked into just one tone! From 1-8 on the tone knob, it works as a regular tone control, but push it past 9 and it shuts off the Bluesbucker's second coil and... Viola! A coil tap without adding switches or push pull pots.The Air Norton gives you a huge wide-range output and rich harmonics but without being too loud like other \"specialty\" pickups out there on the market.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe Air Norton pickups have a lower string pull and a much higher sensitivity to your dynamics and playing style.
