Premium Vintage Les Paul Pre-Wired Upgrade Kit - Short Shaft Pots
This is a top quality vintage 1959 era Gibson Les Paul pre-wired kit featuring True 500k matched CTS pots, correct 20 gauge bus wire, and 1956-60 correct LUXE repro "bumblebee" capacitors.
This is great for a new guitar build or upgrading your existing muddy electronics to vintage 50's specifications. You will hear the difference!
This Kit Includes:
- (4) CTS 500k Short Shaft Pots: These are the highest quality, split-short shaft, audio taper potentiometers from CTS. They are matched to within 1% tolerance of each other and are tested and guaranteed to be at least 500k.ÊSolid brass shaft and bushing for durability.Ê3/8-32 US thread,Ê3/8" bushing height, split-knurled shaft, andÊ3/8" shaft length, vintage audio taper, and real Bakelite base plate.
- (2) Luxe .022 Repro Capacitors: These are handmade to authentic 1956-60 Les Paul specification. The best paper-in-oil tone cap available for authentic 50's Gibson tone and appearance!
- (1') 20 Gauge Buss Wire: Hard to obtain genuine silver-plated 20 gauge solid copper buss wire for grounding the pots like the originals.
- This a pre-wired kit. The pots, caps, and ground wire are pro-soldered for you (50's style) using only the highest quality 2.5% silver solder. Comes mounted on a solid fiberboard. Just drop in, solder your pickups and a few other leads and your done!ÊVintage wiring diagram included.Ê
