Emerson Custom Scranton Screamer Overdrive Pedal

The Screamer is probably the pedal you're most familiar with over any other so it won’t take long to find this pedal’s sweet spot in your setup. The first thing you’ll notice is there is plenty of volume and gain on tap. Roughly twice that of the typical screamer pedal. The bass and treble controls (active EQ) really help you dial it in on your particular setup. In comparison to a classic screamer there is much more clarity and presence!

Finally the toggle switch in the middle is a very welcome addition that allows even more fine tweak ability. In the down position (think classic vintage screamer mid push). Flick it up for less forward mid push (more transparent) and less bass rolloff. This pedal can do it all from a very lovely boost to very aggressive overdrive. Anyone who has an appreciation for that classic green pedal will be very pleased with this version.
