Nash Guitars and Gibson have brought us the definitive Les Paul: the Gibson/Nash LP60. It's everything you want a Les Paul to be, without all the bells and whistles. No modern features, no robo-tuners or weight relief. Just pure, unadulterated rock and roll. Aged and relic'd like only Nash can, this guitar looks like it just got off a 40-year world tour!
The Nash treatment takes more than a piece of sandpaper and some elbow grease. Bill completely strips the guitar all the way down to the bare wood and starts all over again with his secret formula of lacquers and treatments. The guitar is completely disassembled and certain parts are selected for aging and other parts are kept "clean." Finally finished in Nitrocellulose lacquer, this guitars have all the tone and resonance of a real vintage Les Paul. Once the finish is done, that's when the hardware and electronics go in. But it's not all stock parts that end up in there...
The pickups are replaced with Lollar P90's. Rewired completely to breathe better.
