True Vintage 50's Wiring Harness for Tele
Based on the 52' Tele wiring, this is the true vintage 50s re-production wiring harness for your Telecaster®. Compared to the Obsidian® Vintage Plus set you will get more a interactive volume control (Warmer sounds at lower volumes), and a large range of treble roll off from the tone control.
INTERACTIVE VOLUME CONTROL
The volume control on the late 52' Teles roll off treble with volume, so your sounds gets warmer as it gets quieter. This can be the perfect solution for very easily rolling between rhythm and lead.
WIDE RANGE TONE CONTROL
The 52 Tele came a 0.05mfd capacitor used in conjunction with a 250k potentiometer for a larger range of treble roll off, when compared to the modern Tele, which tends to come standard with a 0.022uf capacitor. This can be used for warmer or darker Tele tones.

Use US spec 1/4" Solid shaft controls such as Obsidian® Knobs . We recommend that you check your knobs are the correct size and replace them if necessary.
