The Special Fuzz 2 is a tribute to the vintage 1968 Fuzz Face silicon circuit featuring NOS 60's and 70's Telefunken/Siemens BC109 transistors, carbon composition resistors and audio grade capacitors.
The Special Fuzz 2 nails the original sound of the late 60's BC109 fuzz circuit. We have also engineered the Special Fuzz 2 to be as quiet as possible with little or no RF when your guitar volume is set to zero. This is a rarity for this style of fuzz. The Special Fuzz 2 also cleans up amazingly well when you dial down the volume on your guitar.
The unit can be powered by 9 volt battery or 9 VDC power located on the right side of the unit.
