Made from light-weight aluminum to increase string definition and resonance on those instruments using darker tone woods like mahogany, while reducing weight. Comes with studs only. Inserts for sale separately in 2 lengths as well as heavy and fine knurling.Aluminum is commonly used when the wood types used in an instrument have a tendency to reflect a darker tone like mahogany or when the electronics used subdue the desired clarity.
